Mackverket in Barkaby

Mackverket is a family-run kitchen and food truck with a love for neighbourhoods, ingredients and hearty sandwiches. Our menu is inspired by classic recipes such as Reuben and BLT - adapted to our chef Isabelle's taste and seasonal ingredients.

The core of Mackverket is our fried sourdough sandwiches, which have filled stomachs all over Sweden as we rolled from neighbourhood to neighbourhood in our yellow food trucks.

Today, menus extend beyond the confines of the fried sandwich and we're in more places than ever. Crackers, toast, sandwiches, banh mi. Sandwiches are loved all over the world, but most of us have probably experienced that there can be a difference between a sandwich and a sandwich. Because a good sandwich is about more than just bread and toppings. It should be balanced and well-composed, and it should feel like it's been cooked properly.

Mackverket was founded with a simple idea - a sandwich is a meal. A meal that deserves time and love from raw material to serving. A meal that makes every guest full and satisfied.
