Just like the day Espresso House was founded in 1996, coffee is still our passion!

We are passionate about coffee, people and the environment - and about creating the world's best coffee experience for the world's best guest. If you have the ambition to give the best coffee experience to a satisfied guest, you have to be able to offer really good coffee in a nice environment. A nice environment is created by having nice coffee shops, but - it is 100 times more important to have the world's best staff. Everyone who works at Espresso House goes through training to become a barista. So regardless of their position, everyone at Espresso House is a trained barista. Those who work in our coffee shops are also trained in service and, in many cases, leadership. We believe that well-trained staff are important for creating a pleasant coffee shop. This makes it easier to live by our motto - that the guest comes first and that we want to give the world's best coffee experience to the world's best guest.

At Espresso House, we like to be in control, which is why we don't believe in franchising. We want everyone who visits us to immediately feel that they are at an Espresso House - in terms of coffee, staff and environment. We have our own bakery and invest heavily in having staff with coffee knowledge beyond the ordinary. That way we know exactly what we can offer our guests.
