Under Armor was founded in 1996 in Baltimore, USA by Kevin Plank. The company was born out of his frustration that his cotton undershirt was getting wet with sweat, and fitted poorly, under American football pads. The first product was a tight, short, functional shirt, which you wore under your protection, your Armour, hence the name Under Armour.
Since then, the brand’s mission has been to make you better, and is known for its technologically advanced garments and is one of the absolute biggest innovators in functional clothing, footwear and accessories.
